Integrate with your saws
Our PTX (pattern exchange) file is compatible with Magi-Cut, Cut Rite, directly with many Homag and other beam saws and saw control software.
For Biesse beam saws we generate native Biesse XML, accepted directly by Selco saws and Optiplanner — alongside Mayer .may output, with SCM, Schelling and Giben support in beta.
Our DXF file is ready for import into most CNC post-processing software such as Vectric.
Our algorithms
SmartCut uses various proprietary modern algorithms to optimize the layout of shapes within a container. It solves both the '1D' and '2D box packing' or 'stock packing' problems in computer science.
We have users who specialize in plywood, MDF, sheet metal, aluminium extrusions, plastic, stone, paper, glass & fabric.
SmartCut consists of five algorithms specifically tailored for:
